This patient needed hair transplantation on the vertex. Our doctor implanted 4500 hairs, the intervention went well and the patient was satisfied. Let’s take a look at his case!
On the day of the surgery we need to cut off your hair (in fact we have a partner hairdresser), but don’t worry, in most cases our patients have a good surprise and they like their new haircut. Charles also survived the haircut, check out his head before the surgery:
Our patients leave the clinic with a bandage on the donor area – this bandage has to be taken off the same night. We provide the appropriate pills to avoid the pain, so that you can sleep after the surgery.
The first check-up takes place 1 week after the surgery. If you take a close look to the picture, you still can see the implanted hairs, which will fall in 3 months, giving place to the new hairs that will begin to grow after the 3rd month.
The scalp must be healed after 3 weeks – that’s why we need a check-up at the 3rd week after the transplantation. If you don’t want to send us photos of your head, you are welcome at one of our evaluations. Our specialist can check healing process and give you advices if you have any question.
The 3-month result is the most delicate as the implanted hairs already fell, and the patient can’t see any change. The situation can be as bad as it was before the implantation. This won’t be the final result! The 4th month bring the change as the implanted hairs begin to grow.
Check out on the 6-month picture he sent us for the check-up how many hairs started to grow already!
The final result will be visible after 12-15 months.
Check out Charles’s picture made 1 year after the surgery and a small before-after photo!
